The British Fashion Awards 2009 Sparkle with Swarovski - London 2009
Swarovski was proud to support the British Fashion Awards for the fifth consecutive year in London on December 9th. Hosted by television and radio presenter Lauren Laverne, the ceremony saw designers, models, fashion editors and stylists, as well as industry VIPs joined by a glamorous line-up of guests and presenters, including Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Eva Herzigova, Jerry Hall, and Dame Vivienne Westwood.
With three rotating Swarovski Crystal Palace Tulsa Chandeliers, designed by Michael Anastassiades, displayed on stage through Musion technology, Swarovski not only dazzled in couture, it successfully transformed the main hall of the Royal Courts of Justice into a glitter box of sparkles and glamour.
The first two awards of the evening, The Swarovski Emerging Talent Award for Ready to Wear and Accessories, were introduced by Nadja Swarovski and presented by Eva Herzigova. The awards recognise and financially reward designers as they establish their fledgling fashion businesses. Peter Pilotto won for Ready to Wear and Holly Fulton for Accessories.
